In addition to his impressive racing career, Trey maintains an exceptional academic record and plays basketball. Trey also enjoys working on his race cars under the guidance of his father Perry and veteran crew chief, Paul Cook. Trey’s dream of racing professionally gets closer to reality each year as he combines his talent, passion, and determination to race the track toward Nascar.
In the 2008 racing season, Trey will be running a USCS pavement car, participating in both the National and Regional events. He will also be running a 410 non-wing and midget in Indiana and occasionally a 360 Sprint with the ASCS National and Sooner regions. Trey’s primary focus is to get as much seat time as possible at numerous tracks while continuing to hone his driving skills and mechanical knowledge of the race cars.

- 360 Super Sprint racing at both State Fair Speedway (Oklahoma City, OK) and Devil's Bowl Speedway (Mesquite, TX)
- Broke 51-year-old State Fair Speedway record by being the youngest driver to ever win an A Feature
- Rookie of the Year at State Fair Speedway - 360 Super Sprint Class
- Finished fifth overall in the 360 Super Sprint Class including: 2 heat race wins, one B feature win, 8 top ten A feature finishes, 2 top five A feature finishes and one A feature win
- First time in a Modified, finished 24th in a field of over 120 drivers at a $20,000 to win Modified event
- Competed at the Xtreme Super Nationals $25,000 to win Modified racing event finishing 22nd out of 25 drivers in the A feature, competed in a field of over 120 of the best drivers from more than 20 different states
